Dr. Henry is a native Austinite. He went to Bowie High School and then graduated from the pre-med program at The University of Texas with his Bachelor Degree in Kinesiology and a minor in psychology. During his undergraduate training while exploring different specialties he discovered chiropractic’s conservative care first, approach to health care. When he saw the difference it could make in patients’ lives without having to resort to using dangerous drugs or surgery, he immediately knew that he was going to be a Doctor of Chiropractic.
Dr. Tran is a Southeast Texas native, born and raised in Port Arthur. He is a graduate of Memorial High School and earned a Bachelors of Science (B.S.) in Biology at Lamar University- Beaumont, TX.
Dr. Tran is a 2013 graduate of Parker University, College of Chiropractic in Dallas, TX. During his studies at Parker, he also earned a B.S. in Human Anatomy and B.S. in Health and Wellness. He is a certified Applied Kinesiologist through the International College of Applied Kinesiology. He is also certified in the Webster Technique through the International Chiropractic Pediatric Association, which is a low force chiropractic technique developed specifically for pregnant patients that optimizes health benefits for both mother and baby. His passion is to educate patients to unlock the potential to live their lives to the fullest and help them obtain optimal health with chiropractic.
Dr. Woods was born and raised in Baytown, Texas. He is a graduate of Ross. S. Sterling High School and earned his Biomedical Sciences degree from Texas A&M University.
He graduated with his Doctorate of Chiropractic in December, 2014 from Texas Chiropractic College in Pasadena, Texas. While in Chiropractic College Dr. Woods was in the Omega Psi Honor Society and was a Clinical Teaching Assistant. In chiropractic college Dr. Woods was able to spend time on a medical mission trip treating rural and underserved populations in Costa Rica which he considers one of the most rewarding experiences of his life.
Kim is our Patient Services Coordinator, in charge of helping our patients with scheduling, insurance, and any front desk services. With 5 years’ experience in medical office management, she keeps the TexStar front office running very smoothly. Kim grew up in Oklahoma City and completed her bachelor degree in Marketing at Oklahoma State University. She arrived in Austin a little over 20 years ago and has called it home ever since. After working in sales and marketing for several years, she decided she wanted to work in the health field. She really enjoys helping and supporting patient’s choices to take an active role in creating a healthy lifestyle and choosing more natural approaches to healthcare. Kim loves her job and strives to make sure that you will always hear a friendly voice when you call to book your next appointment.
Ryan is our lead therapy tech in our Austin office. He is in charge of guiding patients through their various physio therapy treatments and rehab exercises here at TexStar. He is a native Texan finishing his B.S. in Kinesiology here in Austin at Concordia University. He plans to pursue his graduate degree in the health care field. Ryan’s passion is to be a part of every patient’s journey in their recovery, and help provide the tools necessary to enjoy a pain free life.
Dayann is our front desk coordinator for our Austin office. She is here to help answer all your questions and help you with scheduling, payments, and any other needs you may have. She graduated from Southern Careers Institute in Austin and has her Medical Assistant certification. She spent several months working in our therapy department before moving to our front desk, so she is well versed in all aspects of patient care. Dayann is bilingual and is originally from Mexico City but was raised in Del Valle Tx and has called it home for the last 15 years. Dayann’s favorite part of working at TexStar is getting to be a part of helping people feel better and seeing the changes in their lives.
Maureen is the Front Desk Coordinator in our Buda office. She is your go-to contact for scheduling, billing, and any other questions you may have at TexStar Buda. Maureen spent ten years as the manager of a local cafe before deciding to move back into the health care field. She is thrilled to be able to serve others and help make patients’ lives better and healthier through her work at TexStar. As a veteran of the United States Air Force, Maureen brings her drive, dedication, organizational skills, and leadership to this role and we can’t wait for you to meet her. She is excited to support the healthy lifestyle choices and natural healing techniques patients will experience at TexStar.
Pam is our new Patient Financial Coordinator, serving patients at both of our locations. She is an insurance expert with many, many years of healthcare billing and collections experience. She works diligently to make sure that we have good information and can accurately tell you what your costs will be for any care you may need before you receive it. She is very excited to be putting her extensive knowledge and training to work making your experience here at TexStar Chiropractic even better. Pam is new to the Austin area, coming here from Nashville TN by way of Phoenix AZ. She loves the food and music she’s experienced in Austin so far and is really looking forward to getting out and about to discover even more!
Mariah is our lead therapy tech in our Buda office. New to the area, this Colorado native relocated to Buda with her husband and fur babies this past summer. She brings 10 years of health care experience as well as a B.S in Exercise Science from Colorado Mesa University. Mariah is responsible for assisting patients' in their journey to optimal, pain free health. Her compassion, care and energy enables her to help patients feel safe and confident while conducting various therapy treatments, and exercises that will optimize their health. Mariah is excited to grow with us here at TexStar Chiropractic and to encourage healthy lifestyles and positive energy to all.
*Our two visit guarantee refers to our office policy, that if for any reason you do not see noticeable improvement in either your pain, function, or range of motion within the first two demo treatment sessions we will not take you on as a patient or recommend any further care in our office. We estimate our success rate is around 90% within one visit, so it is very rare that we have a patient not see improvement by the end of their 2nd treatment.
*The initial start up fee fee is based on an exam charge of $100 plus one set of x-rays if necessary at $65. If you elect to use health insurance the portion you pay may be lower than advertised. A report of findings is included in this exam charge. If our doctors feel that you do not need x-rays or x-rays of more than one body area are necessary, your cost may be different than that advertised. The two trial treatment sessions are for diagnostic purposes only and are included as part of the exam fee, therefore they will not be billed as a separate service. The trial treatment sessions will consist of one or more treatment options that our doctors think you will respond best to, delivered on two separate days. These prices are subject to change. All state and federal insurance and health care regulations and laws will be followed at all times by our clinic and staff.
