About Dr. Montanna Burgess
After earning her Doctor of Chiropractic degree from Parker University in Dallas, Dr. Burgess joined the TexStar team in August 2026 as a chiropractic resident while she completes her Texas licensing requirements.
She’s a lover of all things sports and rodeo, and that passion has carried over into her career. In addition to her work at TexStar, she serves as an Assistant Captain for the Houston Livestock Show and Rodeo Medical and Safety Committee.
She enjoys working with patients from all walks of life, but as a former D1 college track athlete, she especially loves helping young athletes, active individuals, and families get relief and get back to the activities they love. She takes the time to help her patients understand their condition and what they can do to support their recovery.
Dr. Burgess grew up in The Woodlands, Texas, and earned her bachelor’s degree in exercise science from the University of Mississippi (Ole Miss) before attending chiropractic school.
Outside the clinic, she enjoys spending time with friends and family, hanging out on the river in New Braunfels, and going on trail rides.
