Prenatal back pain: how to book the right TexStar doctor
Back and pelvic pain are common later in pregnancy. TexStar can examine that pattern with positioning and techniques meant for pregnancy, and only with a doctor trained for those visits. Ask for that when you book so you are on the right schedule. Results vary.

What this visit is, and what it is not
It is an exam of how your back, hips, and neck are moving while you are pregnant, plus care that fits those findings. It is not obstetric care. TexStar does not claim a technique will turn a baby or shorten labor. If you have been told a specific method by another clinician, bring that note and the doctor will say whether it matches what this office does.
The adjustment page states the rule plainly: prenatal visits use positioning and techniques meant for pregnancy, and only at clinics where the doctor is trained in them. Read that section on chiropractic adjustments.
How to schedule so you see the right person
Call +1 (512) 899-2228 and say you are pregnant, which trimester you are in, and which clinic is closest. Do not grab the first open slot if that doctor is not set up for prenatal visits. The four doors are Southwest Parkway, Bee Cave, Buda (weekdays from 9am), and Belterra on US-290.
What to tell the doctor
- Where the pain sits: belt line, pelvis, pubic bone, or the mid back
- Whether one leg feels shorter to stand on, or walking has changed
- Any limits your obstetric clinician has already set
Pain that stays mechanical can be examined. Lower back pain that arrives with fever, bleeding, or a sudden severe headache is a medical visit first.
Mention the $98 new-patient offer if it applies to your booking. Restrictions may apply. Care is drug-free and individualized. It may reduce pain and improve how you move. Results vary.
Common Questions
Can I be adjusted during pregnancy?
Sometimes. The doctor may choose instrument work instead of a manual thrust. The visit uses positioning meant for pregnancy, and only where the doctor is trained in it.
Is laser used during pregnancy?
The area that can be treated is limited. The doctor will say if laser is off the table for your visit.
Which symptoms should skip the clinic?
Bleeding, fluid leaking, regular contractions, a severe headache with vision changes, or decreased fetal movement need obstetric or emergency care, not a chiropractic appointment.
