Dr. Jacobson’s sports practice that served Lakeway merged into this TexStar office. Patients from Spanish Oaks, Barton Creek, Falconhead, Spicewood, and The Homestead still see him here, with the machines that came with the merger. The address is Suite 110, not a second clinic on Ranch Road 620.

Dr. Jacobson watches gait and the painful range before he chooses a low-force adjustment, soft-tissue work, or a machine. A knee that only hurts on stairs is tested differently from a back that sends pain past the knee. He will say when the findings need an orthopedist.

Dr. John E. Jacobson, DC started as a U.S. Army medic and favors the least force that still changes the joint. That medic background is a screen for problems that do not belong in a chiropractic suite. It does not replace an emergency department.
