Neck Pain Relief Exercise #5: Neck Flexion and Extensions
February 9, 2022TexStar Chiropractic’s Neck Pain Relief Exercise Video #7: “Tilted Forward Flexion”
February 28, 2022Several neighbors and patients have commented on this “Neck Pain Rehab and Stretches” video series. A commonality within the feedback is how even the briefest investment in stretching the neck as depicted in these exercises delivers positive results. So, welcome back to Austin’s TexStar Chiropractic’s blog and this sixth (of eight) video depicting simple exercises you can do at home to reduce neck and upper back pain.
Today’s exercise video, the “Neck Rotation” is designed to improve range of motion within your neck. Take note of the slow and deliberate motion being depicted here. Moving slowly produces two beneficial effects: first, slow stretching reduces the risk of strains that can be caused by quick-twitching muscle movement. Second, this stretch, when done slowly and deliberately, delivers a relaxing and calming effect.
As always, for your quick reference, below are the links to our previous five stretching video blog posts:
